| Plan to stay a long time because there are so many places to visit. You will find listed just a few of the most popular things to see and do. Within blocks of the park we have "Heritage Village". This is a 21 acre open air historical village representing early life in Florida. As you tour the area you find nice and cool spots under the natural pine & palmetto landscape. Adjacent to this village is "Florida Botanical Gardens" 182 acres of natural art beauty & history in the heart of Pinellas County.

| Just a short distance from Bickley Park is "John's Pass" A boardwalk seaside shopping & dining village also offering sight seeing tours, fishing & gambling tours. You can rent jet skis & other watercraft at "John's Pass Village" If boat tours are in your plans there are many exotic tours to see dolphin, snorkle, collect shells or just relax on or off the boat in some tropical location.

| You can go downtown St Petersburg to see the "Pier" known for its unusual shape & collection of fine resturants & shopping. Downtown features some of Florida's finest museums, "Salvatore Dali", the "Holocaust Museum","Florida International Museum" for children the hands on "Great Exolorations" and dozens of others that dot the beaches & communities of Pinellas. Downtown also has "Baywalk" a collection of eclectic shops restaurants, a huge movie complex. Downtown is under constant renovation & becomes more attractive each year. We have sports & other events at the dome called "Tropicana Feild" home of the "Devil Rays". Nearby Tampa has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers & "The Lightening" Hockey Team. We our home to spring training for most of baseball's finest. Enjoy a few of the fine restaurants like The "Vinoy:", the "Don Ceasar", & the "Biltmore" are just a few.

We have many little towns that dot the area, all with Main streets with charm & nostalgia. If you like Antiques the entire Tampa Bay area is rich with antiques.
